Membership Types:
 

Organizational Membership

Criteria and Requirements:

Organizational Membership is available to those organizations which operate as autonomous, independent domestic violence shelters within the state of Arkansas, and meet the Program and Fiscal Standards, and are interested in the activities of the ACADV and supportive of the Principles of Unity.  The applicant agency will complete the Standards application process prior to membership.

Benefits of Organization Membership:

1. As an ACADV Organizational Member, your accountability will be provided through on-site monitoring on an annual basis, which will aid in professional credibility.

2. Are eligible to receive Domestic Peace Funds.

3. The opportunity to exercise your voice by voting on agency policies and legislative initiatives.

4. Attend ACADV sponsored workshops and/or conferences free of charge.

5. Eligibility to apply for ACADV offered scholarships, when available.

6. Receive on-site technical assistance and training free of charge.

7. Networking opportunities with Domestic Violence Service Providers across the state at regional and statewide coalition meetings.

8. Access to the most current and up to date information on domestic violence.

9. Agency recognition within ACADV materials, such as Newsletters, PSA’s, Brochures, etc.

10. Access to the ACADV sponsored Clothesline Project and Silent Witness Project.

11. Information and input on developing and pending legislations.

12. Information on funding sources.

13. Opportunity to vote on any matter submitted to a vote of the membership.

14. Participate in Coalition’s Capacity Building Initiative.

15. Access to bi-annual Full Membership Meeting

Dues:

Dues are annual and assessed on the sliding fee scale below, based on the program’s total operating domestic violence budget.

Yearly Budget/Dues:


$0 - $10,000 | $95

$10,001 - $50,000 | $160

$50,001 - $100,000 | $220

$100,001 - $250,000 | $285

$250,001 - $400,000 | $345

$400,001 – and over  | $440

 

Provisional Membership
 
Criteria and Requirements:


Provisional Membership is available to an organization that is a developing domestic violence shelter or does not meet the criteria for Organizational Membership and is interested in the activities of the ACADV and supportive of the Principles of Unity.  An ACADV staff person will meet with Provisional Members to assist in a written plan detailing goals, objectives, and time frames in which they will meet Program and Fiscal Standards.  An ACADV staff person will meet with Provisional Members at a minimum, quarterly, to review and provide technical assistance with the proposed plan.  Once Provisional Members are in compliance with Program and Fiscal Standards they are eligible for Organizational Membership.  The applicant agency will complete the Standards process.

Benefits of Provisional Membership:
1. Attend ACADV sponsored workshops and/or conferences at no charge.

2. Trained ACADV staff person to assist in coordinating and providing technical assistance during
Organizational development.

3. Receive on-site technical assistance and training.

4. Networking opportunities with domestic violence service providers across the state at regional and statewide coalition meetings.

5. Access to the most current and up to date information on domestic violence issues across the nation.

6. Agency recognition within ACADV materials, such as Newsletters, PSA’s, Brochures, etc.

7. Access to the ACADV sponsored Clothesline Project and Silent Witness Project.

8. Receive ACADV newsletters and training notifications across the state.

9. Information and input on developing and pending legislation.

10. Access to bi-annual Full Membership Meeting.

Affiliate Membership

Criteria and Requirements:
Affiliate Membership is available to domestic violence task forces, coalitions, Law Enforcement Agencies, special domestic violence teams, state or federal agencies, or other non-profits that are interested in the activities of the ACADV and supportive of the Principles of Unity.  The applicant will complete the appropriate membership application.

Benefits of Affiliate Membership:

1. Attend ACADV sponsored workshops free of charge (Eligible for CEU’s, CLST, CLE).

2.  Receive free on-site technical assistance and training.

3.  Networking opportunities with domestic violence service providers across the state at Regional and statewide coalition meetings.

4. Access to the most current and up to date information on domestic violence issues across the nation.

5. Agency recognition within ACADV materials, such as Newsletters, PSA’s, Brochures, etc.

6. Access to the ACADV sponsored Clothesline Project and Silent Witness Project.

7. Receive ACADV newsletters and training notifications across the nations.

8. Access to bi-annual Full Membership Meeting.

9. Information and input on developing and pending legislation.

10. Information on funding sources.

Dues:  $160.00

 

Individual Membership

Criteria and Requirements:
individual Membership is available to those persons interested in the activities of the ACADV and supportive of the Principles of Unity, and supportive of agency goals and objectives.  The applicant will complete the appropriate membership application.

Benefits of Individual Membership:

1. Attend ACADV sponsored workshops free of charge.

2. Networking opportunities with domestic violence service providers across the state at regional and statewide coalition meetings.

3. Access to the most up to date information on domestic violence issues across the nations.

4. Agency recognition within ACADV materials, such as Newsletters, PSA’s, Brochures, etc.

5. Access to the ACADV sponsored Clothesline Project and Silent Witness Project.

6. Receive ACADV newsletters and training notifications across the state.

7. Access to bi-annual Full Membership Meeting

Dues:  $65.00

 

Student Membership

Criteria and Requirements:
Student Membership is available to those persons who are currently enrolled in school and who are interested in the activities of the ACADV and supportive of the Principles of Unity, and supportive of agency goals and objectives.  The applicant will complete the appropriate membership application.

Benefits of Student Membership:

1. Attend ACADV sponsored workshops free of charge.

2.  Access to the most current and up to date information on domestic violence issues across the  Nation.

3. Agency recognition within ACADV material, such as Newsletters, PSA’s, Brochures, etc.

4. Access to the ACADV sponsored Clothesline Project and Silent Witness Project.

5. Receive ACADV newsletters and training notifications across the state.

6. Networking opportunities with domestic violence service providers across the state at regional and statewide coalition meetings.

7. Access to bi-annual Full Membership Meeting

Dues:  $35.00    

 

Corporate Sponsorship

Criteria and Requirements:
Corporate Sponsorship is available to Corporations supportive of the activities of ACADV and supportive of the Principles of Unity, agency goals, and objectives.  The applicant will complete the appropriate membership application.

Benefits of Corporate Sponsorship:
1. Attend ACADV sponsored training workshops for continuing education hours.

2. ACADV will provide on-site employee domestic violence training.

3. Networking opportunities with domestic violence service providers across the state at regional and statewide coalition meetings.

4. Company logo on ACADV website.

5. Access to the most current and up-to-date information on domestic violence issues across the nation.

6. Agency recognition within ACADV materials, such as Newsletters, PSA’s, Brochures, etc.

7. Access to the ACADV sponsored Clothesline Project and Silent Witness Project.

8. Receive ACADV Newsletters and training notifications across the state.

9. Access to annual Coalition update meeting
